My son has a condition called gastroparesis and it is caused by a damaged nerve called the Vegas nerve. I was told that an acupuncture pen would help stimulate this nerve. After three times of using this. My sons symptoms seem to be getting a little bit better. It is made of plastic and seems somewhat flimsy feeling however it does it’s job.

It feels just like the low voltage treatments my acupuncture doctor performs. The instruction manual is well written and illustrated. It says that you will feel the sensations much stronger when you are on a trigger or acupoint. It was fun finding this is true - just an half inch makes a great difference. The device is easy to use and appears to be well-made. Even though it requires one inexpensive battery, it works very well, so follow the instructions and do not start at too high of a setting. It is a very handy tool to help take care of my body.

I keep this device near me on my bed stand. If I wake up with nerve pains, I turn this gadget on and apply the soothing electrical impulses to the affected area. Usually a minute or two of stimulation corrects the problem and I go right back to sleep. It also seems to have eliminated problem pains and discomforts I have experienced, and at the very least, has lessened the frequency of occurrence after a treatment or two. I use the flat plate for maximized exposure.
